Organizer

Overview

The Organizer is a resizable floating panel (Mod+Shift+Tab) with three panes: a sidebar for workspaces and apps, a center pane with a display map and window list, and a right sidebar with the Tile Inspector.

Left Sidebar

Workspaces Tab

• All Windows — Shows every window on every display (unfiltered).
• Workspace list — Reorderable via drag. Click to filter the center pane to that workspace's windows. A red badge shows the count of missing (not running) windows.
• Context menu — Activate, Update, Merge Visible Windows, Rename, Remove All Missing, Delete.
• Bottom actions — "Minimize All" clears the desktop, "Save Current" creates a new workspace.

Apps Tab

• All Apps — Shows every window (unfiltered).
• Running apps — App icon, name, and window count badge. Click to filter.
• Context menu — "Gather & Tile on Display N", "Gather & Stack on Display N".
• Recently Used — Apps not currently running, with "Open" button to relaunch.
• Gather & Tile — Press G with an app selected to open the display picker.

Center Pane

• Toolbar — Sidebar toggles, current view label, window count, refresh.
• Display map — Canvas visualization showing screen outlines, numbered labels, and window rectangles color-coded by app. Missing workspace entries appear as red dashed outlines.
• Window columns — One per physical display, left-to-right. Each has Visible and Dock sections.
• Drag-and-drop — Drag a window row between columns to move it to another screen. Drag to a Dock section to minimize.

Tile Inspector (Right Sidebar)

• Window info — App icon, name, window title.
• Actions — Focus, Minimize/Restore buttons.
• Tile Layout Picker — Visual grid of 38 layouts. Click to snap the selected window to that zone on its current screen.
• Position info — Display number, coordinates, dimensions.

Window Row Actions

• Click to select. Selected row shows inline Focus and Min/Restore pill buttons.
• Context menu — Focus, Minimize/Restore, Gather & Tile, Gather & Stack, Remove from Workspace, Add to Workspace submenu.
