Overview
WinPin provides 38 tile layouts that snap a window to a precise fraction of
your screen's visible area (excluding menu bar and dock). Layouts are available
in the Tile Inspector, the Hover Tile Menu, and via quick-tile keyboard
shortcuts in the Organizer.
How to Tile
- Enable "Hover Tile Menu" in Settings > General.
- Hover over any window's yellow traffic light (minimize) button.
- After 400ms, a layout picker appears.
- Click a layout to snap the window.
Organizer (keyboard or mouse)
- Open the Organizer (Mod+Shift+Tab).
- Select a window.
- Use the Tile Inspector (right sidebar) to click a layout, or press:
- 1 — Left Half
- 2 — Right Half
- 3 — Top Half
- 4 — Bottom Half
- T — Open the full tile picker
Right-click any window row in the Organizer for tiling options.

Sixths (6 horizontal + 6 vertical = 12 total)
Sixths combine a third in one axis with a half in the other:
- Horizontal sixths (wide): Top Left ⅙, Top Right ⅙, Mid Left ⅙,
Mid Right ⅙, Bottom Left ⅙, Bottom Right ⅙
- Vertical sixths (tall): Left Top ⅙, Left Bottom ⅙, Center Top ⅙,
Center Bottom ⅙, Right Top ⅙, Right Bottom ⅙
Ninths (3×3 grid = 9 total)
